Rublev maintains comeback with win over Griekspoor to make quarter-finals in Madrid

On Tuesday, Andrey Rublev defeated Tallon Griekspoor 6-2, 6-4. In the following round, he will face the victor of the match between No. 23-seeded German Jan-Lennard Struff and No. 2-seeded Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.

After a rough start to the clay-court season, Russian Andrey Rublev, ranked seventh, continued his comeback against Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor, ranked twenty-four, winning 6-2, 6-4 to advance to the Madrid Masters quarterfinals at the Caja Magica on Tuesday.
