After winning the first two games of the series on the road, the Vegas Golden Knights have put themselves in a wonderful position. However, if they want to finish the series, they will need to play each game carefully and avoid getting ahead of themselves.

With their two road victories in the series, the Vegas Golden Knights have set themselves up for success. However, if they hope to win the series, they will need to play each game carefully and avoid getting too far ahead of themselves.

The thought of making another deep playoff run tends to thrill supporters. The Golden Knights players need to make sure they maintain the correct mindset despite being up two games to zero against the Western Conference's top seed. It's natural to feel as though their team is untouchable.

When questioned about the challenges of not gazing too far ahead, Shea Theodore responded.

The 28-year-old defenseman stated, "Like last year, you just have to focus one game at a time." "You can't plan too far ahead. Naturally, our victory last year was a lot of fun, but we also got there by playing each game as it came up, without planning too far ahead, and concentrating on the one at hand."

Nicolas Roy recognizes that it can be challenging to keep your eyes on the game in front of you, but he also knows how important it is to do so.

As for the playoffs, "Obviously you can picture yourself being further ahead, but I guess we just have to play it game by game," the center for the Golden Knights stated. "They have a really good team, they finished first in the West for a reason so we know they are going to push back next game and we can't look further."

Although head coach Bruce Cassidy thinks the Golden Knights should capitalize on their 2-0 series lead, the team doesn't want to get ahead of themselves too much. He understands that maintaining their long-standing mindset is essential since momentum may change at any moment, bounces can go against them, and timely goals can not go their way.
