After a "frustrating" period of injury, ANDONI Iraola hopes that Tyler Adams will be healthy for the season's final two games.

Due to hamstring problems, the USA international has only made three appearances for the Cherries this season.

Adams made a comeback in March, but he has missed the last five games due to back spasms that he experienced in the morning.

The 25-year-old won't play this weekend the Cherries go to Arsenal, but Iraola is optimistic the midfielder will play in next Saturday's games against Brentford and Chelsea.

Antoine Semenyo is expected to play against Arsenal in the AFC Bournemouth match. OFFER: Cherries supporters can receive a weekly Echo subscription for just 25p.

In response to a question from the Daily Echo about Adams' back problems, Iraola said, "Yes, he has."

Tyler refuses to go. Even though we only have two games left, I hope he's prepared to take on Brentford.

He and Tav (Marcus Tavernier) are the ones who can most likely return the following week.

"But clearly frustration, as the hamstring was healing beautifully after a protracted injury. After playing for ninety minutes, he developed back issues.

"I believe he is recuperating nicely. Additionally, we are giving him the time he needs since we don't want to take any unwarranted risks with him.

"Given the points we currently have, it is not reasonable to put anyone at risk."

Iraola further revealed that Marcos Senesi is still dealing with the consequences of the injury that sidelined him against Wolverhampton Wanderers last month, even though he started and scored in the match that followed against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Iraola declared, "We are recovering players."

Philip (Billing), Romain (Faivre), and Saba (Illia Zabarnyi).

"Of the players that played against Brighton, we need to determine which one or two can start.

"However, I hope this is a better circumstance than what we faced against Brighton."

Iraola continued, saying of Senesi, "I think he has a very good mentality. He wasn't entirely opposed to Brighton.

"He had back pain when he finished the game against Wolves."

Furthermore, he is among those for whom I have doubts about his ability to begin work tomorrow due to ongoing problems.

"But knowing Marcos, I believe he will push because he is playing so well and has done so in the previous games."
